Questions We Get a Lot
Most single-car bays with standard 9- to 10-foot ceilings can accommodate a simulator enclosure, though a full swing with a driver benefits from at least 10 feet of clearance at the highest point of the arc. Measure your ceiling height at center bay before selecting an enclosure size. Enclosures with adjustable height options give you more flexibility if your space is on the lower end.
Enclosures and frames structure the physical space — the impact screen, side netting, and frame that contain ball flight. A launch monitor is a separate device that reads ball data and connects to simulator software. These are typically purchased and configured independently based on your preferred software platform and budget.
A practical minimum is roughly 10 feet wide by 15 feet deep, which allows a full setup position in front of the screen with enough clearance behind the hitter. Wider bays reduce the sense of constraint and allow for side-angle camera or sensor placement if your launch monitor requires it. Always account for side netting width when measuring your available floor run.

About Our Golf Simulators
A home golf simulator gives you a structured, repeatable practice environment independent of weather, daylight, or course availability. At its core, the setup consists of a rigid frame, an impact screen rated to absorb repeated ball contact, and side containment netting — all calibrated to work with a launch monitor and simulation software you select separately. The right enclosure is sized to your available bay: measure ceiling height, width, and depth before choosing a frame configuration, and confirm the screen material is rated for the club speeds you generate. Buyers should also think about the floor surface — a hitting mat with the correct lie angle matters as much as the screen itself. These systems are designed to assemble in a standard garage bay without permanent structural modification, making them a practical fit for an existing space rather than a dedicated build. The result is a private, controlled environment where swing mechanics can be worked on deliberately, on your own schedule.
